I am convinced that all of us have an intimate connection with life that seeks to maintain its existence through constant evolution. Our reason “to be” may not be different from the reason to be of existence itself. The experiences that awaken our consciousness give us the opportunity to be re-routed with the impulse of the upward spiral.
Living with integrity is a way of living, which leads you to express yourself as you are. It is about being consistent with your values, both in your decisions and in your conduct. This uplifts you to a level where you feel better about yourself. It is a virtue that evolves with self-discovery.
The goal of this book is to help you become aware through self-reflection. Successive chapters will invite you to look at different aspects of yourself to develop a holistic view of your role in life. By strengthening the connection with your most profound meanings, you will discover the sense of a change, the one you and the world are waiting for to make a better present possible.
Thank you for articulating the power of being honest with self - the power of knowing self and living a life of integrity. The courage to look inward is very rare, yet in pointing inward do we actually achieve growth - 'every argument is debatable but its value is relative' 'A life without exploring oneself is not wealthy or isn't wealth' Indeed, what other wealth do I have other than my true self? My authentic self that is a mixture of experience, exposure, personality and desire? The fact that you called out corporate - that the values they share aren't 'lived' they are just descriptive is something that I hope changes - indeed, if a corporation is supposed to be a 'persona' then they should live out those values in process/procedures and openness - may be leading to less office politics:-) I really did enjoy reading the book - many nuggets of wisdom shared in a simple manner.
You have to have the courage to open up to readers in this way. You have to be brave to share your life experiences through words and reach readers not under the hackneyed formula of a self-help book but with sincerity as a flag. It's something I value as much as the message: that way of showing openly, from vulnerability and naturalness. Rolando Satzke tells us: "This is me, these are my life experiences, and I hope they help you face yours." And it works because this book is sheer honest. In this way, Rolando Satzke achieves his formula in Living with Integrity. The author shares with the readers his thoughts, experiences, and feelings in the encounter with himself, in that search for inner peace that makes us feel fulfilled and discover who we are. Ultimately, living with integrity.
